Check out the new contest by Washburn Guitars! The contest is open to guitar players of any style, from rock to blues to acoustic folk. There are some amazing prizes for the winners, including a $2,399 USA-made custom Washburn Guitar.

To enter the Washburn Riff Contest record a maximum 35 second video of you playing a riff of any style on a Washburn Guitar and upload it to YouTube. You can then submit your video to www.riffcontest.com for friends and website visitors to vote on. The contest if voted on by your peers, so by all means feel free to encourage your freidns and fans to check out the videos and vote.

The contest ends on April 5th 2009 and features the following prizes:


1st Prize: Washburn USA Custom Shop WM526B + 2 VIP Tickets for Wacken Open Air 2009 in Germany. Play your Riff live on stage
2nd Prize: Washburn WI50VB
3rd Prize: Washburn WV40B
4th - 13th Prizes: 10 runners up will also have a chance to win 10 Washburn T-Shirts and other prizes
