Hello friends and welcome to This Day In Rock.today is December 1st which means only 24 more days left until Christmas!! I know I am ready for the holidays but I'm just not quite finished shopping yet!lets take that walk down musical memory lane.

On this day in 1958 Neil Sedaka signed with RCA Record Company.

On this day in 1960 Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee (Actress) are wed.

In 1966 "Cass, John, Michelle and Denny" Earn The Mamas and The Papas a forth Gold album.

On this day in1969 Barry Gibb Announces that he is leaving The Bee Gees. The Group would soon again reunite in 1970.

In 1972 "You're So Vain" is released By Carly Simon and quickly Finds the #1 position on the charts.




The Carpenters Go #1 With "Top Of The World" On this day in 1973.

Michael Jackson's Album "Thriller" Is Released On This day in 1982.
