Oklahoma rockers Hinder are back with their second album, "Take it to the Limit." The 11-track CD was released Nov. 4, and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Yes, I know, I'm a bit late on this CD review, but, better late then never! Besides, Hinder is about to embark on tour with Motley Crue and what a better time to get you pumped up for them!

Hinder will fit in well with Motley. They know how to mix head banging, screaming guitars along with the heart wrenching power ballad. Not to mention they aren't to bad to look at either. Their best known hit to date is "Lips of an Angel" ( sigh with me ladies) off their first CD "Extreme Behavior" They know what works so they carried that over to the newest CD "Take it to the Limit" If you loved "Lips of an Angel" your heart will keep doing cartwheels for "Without You." Lead singer Austin Winkler knows how to get the gals hearts a pumping.

Love ballads aside there are hard and heavy, raunchy guitar styling, screaming down and dirty rock songs on this CD. Put it in, crank it up and get that party started songs like "Up all Night" and "Use Me." Hinder's appeal is definitely towards the young, in love, or in lust crowd. Those who want to stay up all night and sleep all day. They are reminiscent of the days of Ratt, Poison, Slaughter and the like. So, if you are a child of the 80's they should appeal to you also. However, I believe many who go to see Motley Crue will leave being Hinder fans also.
