So, you thought you got it all when you bought  your kids guitar hero for Christmas. Or if you were like me and had guitar hero you got them Guitar Hero: Aerosmith..oh yeah and Grandma got them Rock Band. But wait! On the heals of one of the most popular items on Santa's list and of course one of the most popular money makers in a time when most aren't making much money....HERE COMES....GUITAR HERO METALLICA!

Tentatively scheduled for release the first half of 2009, Metallica announced on their website: " Yes, we know, it's the worst kept secret in rock but, we're here now to finally confirm that there will indeed be an all-Metallica Guitar Hero game."  Metallica goes on to say that there will be 28 of their songs as well as songs by Queen, Alice in Chains, The Foo Fighters, Slayer as well as other bands.

I'm excited Guitar Hero keeps on cranking out new games. My kids kick all our asses at it. They especially love to rub our noses in the fact they can beat us at Dragonforce...because "Dragonforce shreds!" Anyway, our household is especially looking forward to seeing bands like AC/DC, Motley Crue, and The Scorpions on some of the new Guitar Hero Games. My kids are nine and six...teach them young: For those about to Rock..we salute you!
