Hello everyone Jenny here filling in for The Great Lis, who is under the weather today! What a wonderful task Lis has writing this column every day. I have learned so much!!


Let’s start out by going back to the year 1961. The Beatles played their first gig at the Palais ballroom to a crowd of 18 people! No it's not a typo!! Apparently their promoters check was not good enough for the local newspaper and they refused it!! Because of this, the event was not advertised and nobody knew! Apparently The Fab Four got a bit rowdy after the show and had to be escorted out of town by the police!!!

In 1992 Bill Wyman of the Rolling stones quit the band.  He told everyone that he had seen it all and done it all.


Now let’s fast forward to the year 2003. Ozzy Osbourne was riding a quad (four wheeler) and wrecked it causing numerous injuries. He broke a vertebra in his neck, 8 ribs and his collarbone. He required surgery from the incident.

Later on in this year there was an auction on EBAY of celebrity thumbprints.  Beyonce, Kelly Osbourne, Coldplay, Blue and Westlife got thier prints auctioned off for chairity.
