Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl-guitar company, was thrilled to be inducted into the Musical Instruments Museum (MIM), a 195,000-square-foot facility in Northern Phoenix that’s billed as the world’s first global musical instrument museum, on April 24, 2010.

 

Daisy Rock’s original star-shaped electric guitar prototype model will be among the first instruments visitors of MIM will see, featured prominently inside the museum’s Guitar Galley. MIM’s Media Relations Manager, Alan di Perna stated, “The Guitar Gallery is one of MIM's orientation galleries. We wanted to greet guests with an instrument that is familiar to many and widely loved. But the exhibit also illustrates how this seemingly familiar instrument has taken on many varied, sometimes surprising, and frequently beautiful forms over the course of time and in different parts of the world. As such, the distinctive style of the Daisy Rock guitar on exhibit helps us to tell this story.”
