Hello friends and welcome to another edition of This Day In Rock. It is twisted Tuesday and dreaded monday is gone. I see nothing but sun outside and even if you can't see it where you are I hope you feel a little! lets take that walk down musical memory lane.

On this day in 1962 the song "Roses Are Red" By Bobby Vinton is recoded.

In 1963 "Please Please Me goes right to #1 for the Beatles.

On this day in 1964 Ed Sullivan invites the Beatles back for a second appearance on his show.

On this day in 1968 Elvis Presley releases a Gospel album titled "How Great Thou Art" which immediately hits Gold Status in album sales.

On this day in 1985 "Carless Whisper" by Wham! goes to #1 and stays there for three weeks.

In 1990 Ike Turner gets a four year sentance to Prison for Cocaine posession.
