On this day in 1962 the song "Roses Are Red" By Bobby Vinton is recoded.
In 1963 "Please Please Me goes right to #1 for the Beatles.
On this day in 1964 Ed Sullivan invites the Beatles back for a second appearance on his show.
On this day in 1968 Elvis Presley releases a Gospel album titled "How Great Thou Art" which immediately hits Gold Status in album sales.
On this day in 1985 "Carless Whisper" by Wham! goes to #1 and stays there for three weeks.
In 1990 Ike Turner gets a four year sentance to Prison for Cocaine posession.
