Hello friends and welcome to This Day In Rock. I hope you had a great weekend. Its Monday And time to get back to the daily grind so lets take that walk down musical memory lane.

On this day in 1963 Bobby Vinton achieved his second top ten hit with "Blue Velvet"

In 1968 "Harper Valley PTA" by Jeannie C. Riley Crossed over to the pop charts from the country charts and went right to #1.

On this day in 1971 "Uncle Albert" and "Another Day" Score Paul McCartney two gold albums.

In 1974 "You Aint Seen Nothing Yet" by Bachmnan Turner Overdrive is released and becomes the bands first and only number one hit.


Fast Forward to 2004 ! John Fogerty Releases jis first album in over 7 years titled "Deja Vu All Over Again"
