Everclear Returns With New Album & Tour!
429 Records, the ever expanding arm of the Savoy Label Group (SLG) and home of the finest in rock, alternative and Americana artists, is proud to announce the signing of seminal Portland rockers Everclear to the label! In an auspicious multi-record deal, the band will initiate the collaboration with IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT-- a collection of newly interpreted recordings of some of their greatest hits and two newly penned songs, "At the End of the Day" (the first single) and "Here Comes the Darkness." The brainchild of front man Art Alexakis, the album will be released on 429 Records on October 6th in North America, in Australia by Universal Music Australia and Europe by Proper Music Distribution. Exclusive album packages including bonus tracks by the group will be on sale at the iTunes Store and at Amazon.com. The band will hit the road in support of IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT playing shows across the U.S. through the end of the year starting in Birmingham, Alabama on September 29th.
IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT is a fresh and intimate take on multi-platinum selling Everclear's most popular songs and two new originals. The collection was produced by singer Art Alexakis and Peter Asher.
