Tenth Street Entertainment, the leading marketing/management/content company has announced that industry veteran DOUG THALER will join the company as Senior Vice President of Touring, reuniting him with Mötley Crüe, whom he co-managed in the 80’s.  Tenth Street Entertainment’s roster of artists includes Mötley Crüe, JET, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Blondie and Drowning Pool amongst its partners in creating content.  Thaler will work out of the New York office.  The company is also anchored in Los Angeles and London.
 
Thaler brings his more than three decades of experience in domestic and international touring and artist management to the company, having been named Pollstar and Performance Magazine’s Personal Manager of the year in 1987 and by Performance Magazine again in 1989.   Thaler began his career as a management partner for the fledgling Mötley Crüe and Bon Jovi, seeing the band’s from club acts to international superstars with over 35 million in record sales and worldwide touring grossing over $50 million. With a background including oversight and coordination for worldwide promotion, marketing and publicity as well as negotiating merchandising, recording and all aspects of touring for artists such as Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Winger, Vertical Horizon, Bruce Hornsby, Rusted Root, Nine Days and Art Garfunkel, Thaler fits right into the culture at Tenth Street Entertainment.  
 
The highly regarded company was founded by industry leader Allen Kovac and is structured to encompass all support departments in house for the roster including integrated marketing, sponsorship, new media, video production, radio promotion, research, press and publicity, merchandising, tour marketing and more.
