Hello Friends And welcome to This Day In Rock. We made it through the weekend and now it is time to face the work week. now lets take that walk down musical memory lane.

"Rockin Around The Christmas Tree" By Brenda Lee Was Released on this day in 1958.


The Yardbirds start off their very first US Tour in New York on this day in 1966.

On this day in 1970 "Ned Kelly" Is released. The main Character was played by Mick Jagger. The movie was a box office bomb.

On this day in 1974 "Nothing From Nothing" by Billy Preston Was the #1 Song.

In 1994 a section Of seating collasped at a Pink Floyd Concert. Luckily nobody was killed.

On this day in 2006 The #1 album on the Billboard hot 200 was "Still The Same... Great Rock Classics Of Our Time" By Rod Stewart.
