Another Sunday

i was bored the other day and surfing around facebook groups, looking up bands, most likely to join and never be active in like most others. i stumbled upon 4 or 5 groups for this one band that i really love! i was thrilled to be able to perhaps make friends with other fans. however after joining all the groups i came to discover the last activity in the group was mid 2008 at best..there went my giddiness of trying to connect with others and share stories, pictures, and even possible news. being that i wasnt getting anywhere on there i headed over to youtube, now with the memories of seeing them live and thought i would hunt around for some "bootlegs" to satisfy my craving.
I MOTHER EARTH.  
even thru the bad quality uploads i was excited. however i was missing them, now..i missed the feeling of looking forward to whenever the next upcoming concert would be. even tho they had replaced Edwin, the singer (details as to why and how are unclear as in most bands) and i really wish they had just changed their name after recruiting Brian Byrne. it is nothing more then my mere opinion but i really think ALL bands should be renamed when the VOICE of the band changes..well they went on to play for a few more years and even release 3 more cds, but as much as i was a fan of Byrne and he is a great singer, the warm fuzzies will never be the same as they were when i hear them with Edwin. the same goes for Edwin's solo stuff, i love it, im a fan, but it is just not the same admiration.

in 2003, they played their last show as the band IME and went out with a bang so to speak. but to this day i still hold the hope close to my heart that they will reunite. until that happens, which as of Nov 2008 was said not to be anywhere in the near future by guitarist Jagori,...i atleast have a few videos and lots of memories.  and i hope you enjoy them as much as me...or atleast a little bit. **disclaimer** i am sorry for the crappy content of some of them..but just listen to the tunes then if you find them unbearable..lol

After our morning conversation, which I'm so thrilled for btw...i miss those, I'm glad to see this posted fine videos and all! And I agree that bands should rename in the voice is replaced...it's just NOT the same monster. I mean, Van Halen became Van Hagar...Motley was just not Motley w/out Vince...no disrespect to Crabby intended. I love when you go down nostalgia memory lane and take us all for the ride!!
