What a killer show! If you've seen Queensryche you'd know what I mean. Band came out to the sounds of Missles and airplanes. The lights hit the stage which had the drums on a HUGE riser and decked out in Camo(theme for American Soldier). Out walks the band then they hit right into Neue Regal. Geoff Tate came out in a suit which was kinda strange, he looked like a used car salesman.
The crowd was rocking during the Rage for Order Suite then it was time to hit into a much deeper and powerful Suite for their new Album American Soldier. Before hitting the stage again a soldier walks onto the stage and salutes the crowd then yells "Welcome to the SHOW!" which is a main lyric in the song sliver. The songs were extremely powerful in this set and so were the videos. Soldiers told their stories in alot of these songs and it hit alot of people in the crowd. A Little later in the suite Geoff Tates Daughter came out and sang Home Again with her dad. The song is about a soldier who is leaving for the war and his daughter asks when are you coming home again.
After that suite it came for one of Queensryches biggest albums Empire! Fan favorites all over that album and it seemed to get the most crowd reaction of all. Jet City Woman,The Thin Line,Silent Lucidity, and Empire are just to name the few songs that were intense throught the night.
Cell phone picture from the back forgot the nice camera :(
