My Birthday...

My birthday just recently arrived and passed on December 15th. I wasn't quite dreading it as much as I thought I would...each year creeping me towards the big 40. But hey...I actually cried when I turned 25, which is actually funny to me now. How much I didn't know...how much I must still not know. What more I can't wait to learn!

I had an awesome day on my birthday. I was honored that Lis wanted to include me in her "This Day in Rock" article. Because I am no rock star. I write about them, I photograph them, I've had the pleasure to meet a few of them.  But, I'm not one of them. I'm so happy though to be part of Lis's world though. She is truly my special gift. Well, and I may not BE a rock star but, some sweet ones did remember my birthday! Thank you Mark Slaughter **sigh** the man is so sweet. No one should be that sweet and that good looking. It is too much for us women to take! But, I truly appreciate the birthday wishes. And Nick Black. Who is also a hottie and incredibly talented so you should definitely check him out! James Steele who is an amazing guitar player, Oh, and Mark Briody from Jag Panzer and his dear family singing happy birthday to me!  and some other incredible musicians...I thank you all!

Although I know he had know idea he gave me a birthday present...Mr. DJ Ashba...read my review of Sixx AM's "Live is Beautiful" that I have on the magazine...well he must have approved because he posted it on his own myspace blog! I was very pleased he enjoyed it enough to share with his million or so "friends" or fans or stalkers....  Thanks DJ! I'm glad to see we have some celebrity readers as well! Happy Birthday to me! hehe

As I worked all day editing images, writing, and doing some research I continually got notices of a new comment on my myspace page, that someone had wrote on my facebook wall, a new email, or my phone rang. I was surprised...really I was...how many people not only remembered but, cared enough to give me birthday wishes. I love you all. My dear friends. My family, my husband, my boys,...my friends that have become my family. And my little coven of "back off girls" I could not do this without you...I love you so much. I am blessed...
